Feedback on the final version of the video

An international feedback! My Russian friend commented on the video that: "You should include more short, flashing shots, since they are too long. Plus more of the non static camera shots, at least achieved in the post production, since the song is very fast and dynamic."

This is so nice. Aw. :)

We have decided to shorten the song a little bit since it was too long (4:20), and now it is 3:20.
Since when we asked people they said it started to be boring after the 3rd minute.
Also, some of the shots were too long and we have shortened them, included more jump cuts.

This is the finalised music video. We wanted to make another one with a radio version of the song, but could not find it anywhere to download. However, the parental advisory sign appears on the front cover of the Digipak,which should not cause issues in this case.

Digipaks + booklets process

I have been working on creating a booklet. Using the website zazzle i created a sticker to put on the cover of the CD.

 This is a cover of the digipak, it includes this sticker, parental advisory sign. I have tried different fonts and ways of putting them around - for example, as shown here - vertical text, which I didnt quite liked how it worked.
 Another page of the booklet. I have inverted the colours of the drawing. added text. The image overlaps on the next page if the booklet, which Ive done deliberately.
 Inverted colours of the image again, on the next page I used the butterfly`s silhouette and reversed it, which gives this pages the dark fairy tale sort of look.

 This image has been put in B&W because the beige colour scheme did not fit in.
 This is a bug i drew and edited in photoshop, added text.

This is a sketch of the final digipak, it doesnt have all the information yet.

Behind the scenes stills

We still have many pictures from the production day which we did not post, the ones we have taken on a disposable camera! We will develop them and post soon.

Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

As I am trying to work with Adobe Illustrator I have watched this videos and it seems very useful .

Feedback on the presentation below

We asked all of the people in our media class to give us the feedback on what we have so far, e.g. - booklet, digipak and video.
We have shown them the presentation I posted below and what we have edited so far for the video.
I am so happy about the feedback!
Good aspects of our work:
* Good variety of shots
* Fits the genre
* Creativity in the digipaks and booklets
Negatives:
* Some of the shots are not completely relevant and repeat themselves
* Gaps (but they are just the shots that are missing, not sure why people commented on them as Ive told them in advance about it)
* Storyline?

Video

This is what we have so far for the video - going to change it majorly, but now working on digipaks and booklets

Poster

 I am currently working on the creation of the poster in Adobe Illustrator, so far it looks like this.

Some of the pictures i made for the booklet/digipak

Digipak booklet

This is a page I have drawn using the website harmony. It will be used as one of the pages of the booklet. I used different brushes to create it and a bamboo tablet. As there are not so many tools there you are limited to just drawing, which gives the images this minimalistic look I was going for.

A good tutorial on Adobe InDesign!

Audience research

Response for the music video so far from Mariana:
I love it, but you need some more shots because many of them are similar and look like you are repeating them!
We did not finish editing it yet, but so far looks like this
