Rob Zombie - Dead City Radio Analysis

Referring to Sven E Carlsson I would classify it as a commercial exbitionist, it just promotes the singer and his band.
It is more of a performance clip, but has some aspects of the conceptual ones too. I think it has a form of a little film, there is a name of a production company in the beginning, and THE END in the end.
The look of Rob Zombie is not that conventional for a rocker - he has dreadlocks but his hair is still long and he has many tattoos. Even though he is in his late 40s in this video and henerally on his concerts he actually looks extremely old, to illustrate his name ZOMBIE
The music video was filmed in monochrome colours to not disturb the audience from the composition of shots and the texture.
It has a lot of weird characters in it, like an aggressive blond girl and a midget. A midget and a monster that looks like from the Monster Inc. very surprisingly connote the hip hop genre of music - they have this big $ necklaces and move in a certain way. This represents the Radio in general - it plays all the different sort of music (also the oriental girl dancing)
Almost everyone is either playing guitar, singing or has headphones or carries around a huge radio which also refers to the name of the song.
A dog that Rob Zombie is holding represents the pop genre because it`s small and looks like one of those tiny dogs Britney Spears would have.
A skeleton breakdancing probably represent another genre as well, I`m not sure which one.
All the characters are shown in a dark way.
